{"id":255,"date":"2013-11-27T08:25:11","date_gmt":"2013-11-27T08:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/runningonempty.blogtown.co.nz\/?p=255"},"modified":"2013-11-27T08:25:11","modified_gmt":"2013-11-27T08:25:11","slug":"day-11-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/runningonempty.blogtown.co.nz\/?p=255","title":{"rendered":"Day 11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>27-11-13<br \/>\nUsually I would miss running on Wednesday mornings because of my scheduled business meeting but I decided today that I had some missed runs to catch up on.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-Run \u2013 04:30 am<br \/>\nInsulin status \u2013 last lantus 7:00 am 26\/11\/2013, last novorapid 9:35 pm 25\/11\/2013<\/p>\n<p>Pre-run BGL \u2013 5.3 mmol\/L at 04:40 am<\/p>\n<p>Distance run 10 km.<br \/>\nToday\u2019s run was the full circuit with any additional exercises to save time.<\/p>\n<p>Post-run BGL \u2013 8.5 mmol\/L at 6:15 am \u2013 Post run BGLs are back to where they started.<\/p>\n<p>Breakfast \u2013 5 pieces of streaky bacon and 3 eggs fried in Lard.<br \/>\nBreakfast insulin \u2013 8 units of Lantus at 7:00 am, 3 units of Novorapid ( 1 to cover the Neoglucogensis from the bacon and 2 as a correction for the 8.5 ).<\/p>\n<p>Lunch \u2013 100 grams of cold Chipolata sausage and 100 grams of tasty cheese.<br \/>\nLunch BGL \u2013 5.7 mmol\/L at 11:55 am<br \/>\nLunch insulin \u2013 Nil<\/p>\n<p>Dinner \u2013 2 x pieces of rump steak, carrots, broccoli and beans<br \/>\nDinner BGL \u2013 6.3 mmol\/L at 6:05 pm<br \/>\nDinner Insulin \u2013 5 units of Novorapid, ( 1 to cover the carrots and 4 to cover the Neoglucogensis from the steak ).<\/p>\n<p>Bedtime BGL \u2013 8.0 mmol\/L at 9:15 pm<br \/>\nBedtime insulin \u2013 3 to cover the continued Neoglucogensis from the steak.
