I got up and dressed at 4:30 am, got out the door and down the road a bit, then realised I had a blister on my toe. Every time my right foot hit the ground the blister hurt enough to make me hop about. So I turned around and walked back home. It was too early to stay up so I went back to bed. I should have stayed up because when I woke up later I felt terrible.  <\/p>\n<p>Pre-Run \u2013 04:30 am<br \/>\nInsulin status \u2013 last lantus 7:00 am 27\/11\/2013, last novorapid 9:15 pm 27\/11\/2013<\/p>\n<p>Pre-run BGL \u2013 5.3 mmol\/L at 04:30 am<\/p>\n<p>Breakfast \u2013 5 strips of streaky bacon and 3 eggs fried in Lard.<br \/>\nBreakfast BGL \u2013 6.4 mmol\/L at 06:40 am<br \/>\nBreakfast insulin \u2013 8 units of Lantus at 7:00 am, 4 units of Novorapid ( 4 to cover the Neoglucogensis from the bacon ).<\/p>\n<p>Lunch \u2013 60 grams of Danish Salami, 100 grams of steak and 60 grams of tasty cheese.<br \/>\nLunch BGL \u2013 7.5 mmol\/L at 12:15 pm<br \/>\nLunch insulin \u2013 3<\/p>\n<p>Dinner \u2013 KFC Chicken and chips ( We were celebrating my youngest daughter&#8217;s 18th birthday ).<br \/>\nDinner BGL \u2013 6.8 mmol\/L at 6:25 pm.<br \/>\nDinner Insulin \u2013 9 units of Novorapid, 5 to cover the Chicken and 4 to cover the chips.<\/p>\n<p>Bedtime BGL \u2013 9.0 mmol\/L at 9:45 pm<br \/>\nBedtime Snack \u2013 Nil<br \/>\nBedtime insulin \u2013 6 units of Novorapid to cover the continued slow release of the chips. I always do a split dose with KFC and Chips.<\/p>\n<p>Note :- No run tomorrow or Saturday morning as I have my granddaughters staying and one of them sleeps in our bedroom.
